PFLA staff spent an inspiring week connecting with local government leaders from throughout BC at this year’s UBCM conference in Victoria BC. 

A highlight was Minister Randene Neill and Minister Ravi Parmar’s conversation about collaborative resource stewardship at the UBCM Resource Breakfast series.

These conversations highlight the importance of collaboration as the PFLA works toward government policy that is fair, environmentally sound, fiscally responsible and sufficiently respectful of private property rights.

UBCM’s annual Convention brings together its local government and First Nations members to identify key policy issues and engage with other orders of government.

The 2025 UBCM Convention was held September 22-26 in Victoria, BC.
