BC National Forest Week
The PFLA is a Silver Sponsor of BC National Forest Week. 2025 marks the PFLA's 10th year of support for the annual event, celebrated each year across Canada during the third week in September.
Forests Forever Exhibit
The PFLA is a Yellow Cedar-level supporter of the Forests Forever exhibit at the BC Forest Discovery Centre. The exhibit tells the story of modern forest innovation on the coast of BC.
Haley Memorial Bursary in Forestry
The PFLA’s Haley Memorial Bursary in Forestry supports UBC forestry students and honours the Haley family and founding PFLA Chair, Maxine Haley. Ms. Haley served as the Chair of the PFLA from 1995 through 2008.
Cowichan Exhibition
The PFLA has been a long-time sponsor of the Cowichan Exhibition, a tradition in the Cowichan Valley for 152 years.
UBC Scholarship
The PFLA is proud to award a $1000 scholarship annually to a student in the Faculty of Forestry at UBC.
